I use good old coppertone spf 45. I still got some color and I was in the sun for almost 10 hours at FFW Saturday. The trick is to not miss a spot, which I did. I missed right above my achilles just to below the calf on both legs, now that looks stupid. :bang: It'll even out in a day or two. Can't believe myself at time.

I am fair complected with freckles. I have always each day no matter what the weather used oil of olea spf 15 on my face, neck and hands. I tell my husband all the time if all the freckles were connected I would have a wonderful tan. But from time I go out in the sun,(like in the vert) for the day and I get very red even the top of my ears . Not that I want a tan, but I understand that oil of olea has a new lotion that has a hint of sunless tanning. Suposed to help prevent a burn. I will try some the next time I go out. Hope it works. all red in the face

I am so tan now, I look like I spent 3 days in a tan booth. Its great......

Normally I use Banana boat 45. BUT I do love my coconut oil....

My stupid Aunt who is about as smart as a doorknob lies out in the sun using PAM! to tan with. That's like Kramer when he used Butter to tan.

OMG, what the heck was that. You know it can't be real. Who would take a picture of that. It looks like she had very bad burns. And if that is the case, she would not be in the sun thats for sure. It would hurt if it was just a little bit, but it was her whole body.

Umm, it is real. I have seen people that have skin like that. It has become that way after YEARS of being in the sun, usually just about everyday.

I know this guy who is a roofer, and his back and arms are stiff like leather. Sun will damage you if your constantly exposed. This woman prob lives near this beach and has spent many days on that bright sand.

Once you get to that point, you wont feel the burn like we do.

Oh, and obviously someone took the picture -- for whatever reason. I guess to show what the sun can do to your skin.

I didn't mean to be mean about it. It is just that with all we know about the sun's rays people still lay out in the sun and cook themself. I am very fair, so I try not to get burned. They rest of my family have olive complections and tan beutifully. They all tan and I just get red. But then again I have this Aunt who I love to death, she is only 17 days older then me, she works in a ship yard and before that she was a feild hand on a produce farm. Her tan is very dark but she looks older then my mother. Mom is a little darker then me but not much. My husband says he is very happy I don't tan.
