Yes it has, and it's been a beautiful summer here! Somewhat mild and no scorching heat and humidity.

Yes indeed!
Not only is summer going by fast, but the years seem to go by so quickly now as well.

@Tourer, we're in the wrong part of the world for a slow summer.

The Air Force stationed me in Arkansas for almost 20 years. As soon as I retired, I moved up here! Winters aren't that much colder, and summers are infinitely more comfortable here.

That is my thought too to head south, but not too far south. We are thinking Tennessee, or North Carolina. I'm tired of cold winters, ice and snow.

My wifes brother lives in Colorado, and he wants us to retire out there. He said winters are not bad...we love Colorado, but I equate it to a lot of snow.

We have some time to figure it out, like 10 years.

Yeah,....I'd rather deal with the heat than the snow. I HATE the cold, and everything about winter. lol

I may start experiencing some form of winter this year with my pending move to OKC. Hopefully it won't be too bad. I do despise cold weather. OKC looks like it should be fun with plenty to do and no gnats - I hate freakin' gnats.

I believe it was General Sherman who said, "If I owned hell and Texas, I'd live in hell and rent out Texas."

this summer is smoking by.

Been a pretty enjoyable one other than the month of B.C. wild fire smoke. I hate to see it slip away.

Had to go down south to AZ... Not sure how those folks down there can stand it. Was 109° and f-n hot. Still over 100° after 10pm. Thankful I live in the north for the summer months, but December to February is a different story... At least for last winter.

Love my Maui time...
