If you really want to "do some good", ban minivans. More children have been hurt or killed in minivans! (Might have something to do with the fact that more children get hauled around in minivans, eh?)
This is like that ridiculous statistic that "Most accidents happen with 20 miles of your home." Well, DUH! Most of my driving is within 20 miles of my home!

 

It's a joke, like banning guns because criminals use them. Same thing but people are too stupid to understand this principle until they see it written in this context.

Ban Chevy because more drunk drivers use them than other cars, see how stupid that sounds.....

Personally, it's pretty **** clever + funny.

 

Last year USA Today published an article claiming that Corvettes were inherently more dangerous than Volvos because they were involved in more fatal accidents. They failed to mention that the type of owner/driver of Corvettes is significantly different from Volvos. You can prove just about anything with statistics if you don't apply common sense.

 

Facebook and all other social networking sites should be banned, not because of this one thing, but, well... just because.

 

Agreed. I'm not a member of Facerbook; someone from work (a fellow Mustang owner) sent me the link. Had I known it was posted as a joke, I would not have bothered posting it here.

With all that's going on in the world today, we certainly don't need this type of posting, even if it's a joke. Many of the schools in my area are closing early, as some think it's funny to call in a bomb scare, or threaten to try and get onto the campus. Sick.

Did you guys know. The majority of people that die in auto accidents every year were in some sort of automobile!!! And to make matters worse, if you count everyone not living today that has owned a automobile or not, 100% have died.

I have never witnessed anyone dying in an automobile accident. Therefore, it is impossible to be killed in an automobile.
