Well we'll cancel mine out seeing as there really is no meaning. It was written by Lennon to screw with all the people who thought that all his songs had some hidden deeper meaning.
Oh and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was written about a picture drawn by John's son Julian of his classmate Lucy O'Donnell that he called Lucy in the Sky. Yes he drew some diamonds in too.

I wanted to write about Glass Onion. I had a literature of song course in high school, and that was one of the songs we analyzed (Good job John :P )
People were coming up with things like the Glass Onion was a T.V. and that it was a metaphor for the different layers of life (layers in an onion). The teacher let us in on the true meaning which was yours, after a headache worth of analysation lol
Also, in that class we analyzed Lucy, and we watched a video where John said that it was his kid's drawing. Some people didnt buy it lol

Did you read John's exact words on that? It's weird seeing him say that he actually wanted to "f*@k" with their minds. Laughed my hiney off when I first heard that.
As far as Lucy, here's the actual drawing from Julian. You can see the diamonds but because it's faded so much it's a little difficult to see Lucy on the left there.(I think :scratch: )
On a side note, "Hey Jude" was actually about young Julian Lennon and was originally called Hey Jules.

oh yea, and in the british version of the Sgt. Pepper's album, their is a sound at the end of "A Day in the Life" that only animals can hear. I guess it was Paul's idea because of his love of animals.

It's about someone who loves to be out and about. He doesnt want to be tied down and live an ordinary life becase he's like the breeze and just whizzes by. reminds me of ramble on by led zep
