You are in a room with a 3 pack of light switches that control three different lights in the room next door(one switch per light). You need to figure out which switch controls which light. You may turn the switches on and off as much as you woud like, but you could only enter the next room once. How do you accomplish this?

I have an answer, but I think it's cheating. I am one of those guys who always comes up with an answer that ruins riddles because it's not the intended answer, but it still works. So here I go ruining yours.

You flip the left light switch on. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back off.
Then flip the middle switch on and leave it on.
Walk into the next room.
Whatever bulb is on is wired to the middle switch.
Whatever bulb is off but warm to the touch is wired to the left switch.
Whatever bulb is off and cold to the touch is wired to the right switch.
