When I was in the hospital having my transplant, I forgot my good razor. I wasn't going to use the cheap $.10 disposible they give you, so I let it grow till I got out 8 days later. Man, I HATED IT. Felt horrible. I can't go more than 1 day without shaving. Clean for me.

ive gotten lazy, i just use a beard and mustache trimmer and go over it all. Gives that rough, way past 5 o'clock, finish but doesnt get very long. I have to do it like every day or else it does start itching.

If I am doing training or know I am gonna be in an air pack any during the day, i will shave clean though. Air mask and facial hair dont make for a great seal.

I have a goatee. I hate trying to shave my top lip, so the goatee is a happy medium.

I NEVER shave at weekends though, I really can't be bothered.

Ditto

I make it a point to NOT shave on my 2 days off a week. Goatee makes life easy when I have to though...Like 10 swipes and DONE. I use the Schick ST 3 blade disposables, never seem to burn ya and they last forever.

Yeah, in that case, shaving would be a good thing to look forward too again, but I'm lucky enough that mine doesnt grow very fast, and my hair is light, so I can go like a week, without it getting to be any problem, give it a month, and i start to look shaggy.
