I Started playing Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2
A-MAZING!
It's just you, a sword weilding man who wants to bring a beautiful lady back to life, versus 16 Colossi. There are no minor enemies, just boss battles.
In between battles, you travel around in this beautiful land looking for the Colossi to defeat. The environment is jaw-dropping.

The game looks great, the music is the best I have heard on a video game (planning on buying the soundtrack), and the controls are easy to learn.
There is some thinking involved in this game, most of it coming in the form of trying to climb the Colossi.

 

I have been wanting to buy that game for a while.

 

Buy it... like the kids say nowadays... "It's Epic!," literally

 

I played a demo that i had on a disc and i felt bad for killing the colossus.. he was just wandering in a feild and i came up and stabbed the crap out of his legs until he couldn't walk and jabed my sword in the top of his head.. but why? what did he ever do to anyone? Left me feeling very sad.

 

That looks pretty savage If only my PS2 worked

how long does it take to defeat a collosus?
with only 16 it seems like it could be a short game

 

It is a short game... one of its very few downfalls. It took my brother a bit over 11 hours to complete it.

 

You'll do some tremendous stuff for love... the story goes well with why and what happens when each colossi is defeated.
