horrible unnecesary language, not even that funny...the funniest parts were the "Jive Turkey" bit...which wasnt even that funny, and the ally oop joke....which was pretty good.....other than that....blah..i was very disapointed and it was not worth the money. It was only rated R becuase of the language...no *****...could have been PG13 very easy

me neither, I just dont think he's funny. I thought Talladega Nights was an awful movie

 

I seem to have the same feelings about Will Ferrell that I do about Jack Black. Love them in supporting roles, hate them as the lead (except stranger than fiction). Jack Black was awesome in High Fidelity, Will Ferrell was great in Old School. Nacho Libre and Talladega Nights just about made me lose my lunch. Anchorman was also kind of an exception for me, but those parts that made the movie for me were more about Luke Owen, Ben Stiller and Steve Carell.

 

I didn't like Talladaga nights at all. But i did really like anchorman, old school, blades of glory and elf, stranger then fiction.

 

I admit I'm not a huge fan of J.Black... or wasn't.
He just annoyed the **** outta me.

BUT...
I will say he was good in School of Rock
and even 'The Holiday' and 'King Kong' were pretty good.
And come on now..Pick of Destiny was awsome too

As for Will... I like most of his movies..
with Anchorman and Nights being the top 2 for me.
He plays such a great idiot...haha

 

I thought Jack Black was good in King Kong up till the last line. But the way he delivered the line about Beauty killing the Beast cheezed me out the way he said it. I agree with you Boomer, liked him in "The Holiday" a lot (one of the wife's fav movies).

The fact that Will plays a good idiot is exactly the reason I love Old School. He and Vince and Luke are playing the characters they're best at...so was Andy Dick. lol

 

I have to admit, I loved Talladega Nights. Laughed through to whole movie. I have yet to see Semi-Pro, though.
