Well, 1pm is here. I am off to the Highlands in Scotland for a little 3 day break!

Speak to all you "off-topicers" on Sunday.

I intend to get some decent pics of my car in some spectacular scenery (like the top of a mountain )

Later......

James

Sooo...now you will be able to answer the age old question--what's under the kilt?

Have a safe, fun trip

(Take some 1/4 front view pics, they'll help me in drawing your toons.)

Have a great one, I'm debating about going to London or Glasgow next. Dublin was great and I'm telling you, Guinness beer in Dublin is "Fantastic"!!!! They make it there, they ship it right down to the pubs, and the taps are made "extra cold" for the Guinness. I'm spoiled now.
James, I'd like to hear your thoughts on my next trip, which would be better? After that, Vienna for Thanksgiving.

Right then. That was a great trip except for the weather! It was very cold, and very wet!

Anyway, Some pictures..........

The mustang at the top of a pass, the reason the hill behind looks as if the top had been chopped off is the cloud cover! (Blip, here is the front 1/4, I also have it in 2048x1536)

A red deer we saw in the Highland Wildlife park, it was rutting season, and I felt a little exposed with that thing so close!

This is an experimental picture because the camera is new and has a new flash mode I have never used before...... The building behind was our hotel for the forst night.

Just some landscape pictures, the dull weather made the place really moody....

And last but not least, a Highland Cow (pronounced "Coo" in the highlands!)

I hope you enjoyed these, It was my first time with this camera, A Fuji Finepix A310 for anyone that is interested. A great camera, but it goes through batteries like nothing else!
All of these pictures have been downsized, either from 2048x1536 or 2816x2120, so if you want to see the hi-res ones, pm me!

Thanks for Looking!, James

There can be only one!!!!! (Ponycar )

Great pictures. I've always wanted to go to Scotland. Even with the poor weather that landscape looks beautiful.

Great pictures. I love weather like that. Good thing, because it's like that here today.

That hotel looks great.
