As some might know, I'm going on a 2600 mile road trip the first week of August. I am flying back to the states and packing light so I'm only taking a small CD case that holds ten disk. I'm not going to ask which 10 disk you would take but 5 sounds like a reasonable number. This can include your own burned greatest hits for your favorite artist. Gotta love technology.

Which 5 Artist/Bands CD's would you take on your road trip?

Linkin Park Greatest
Van Halen Greatest
Offspring Greatest
AC/DC Greatest
Metallica Greatest

Tough call . .

If I were going on a Road Trip THIS week this would be my list.

Drive-By Truckers - Southern Rock Opera
ZZ Top - Rancho Texicano the Very Best of ZZ Top
David Allan Coe - Biketoberfest '01
Kid Rock - Kid Rock
Tom Petty - Greatest Hits

Most of my CD's in my car are mixes, so I don't have to have 30+ CD's to choose from.

Well...
That is just a given, but with XM instead.

Too funny. Okay if no satellite radios were available??? I "knew" I should have put that in my original post. Besides, I don't have the time to get one installed when I get back. Too much other crap to do.

Hoaah I love Music Threads. Top 5 for a Roadtrip? Kinda hard:

1.) Down - Nola
2.) Down II - A Bustle in your Hedgerow
3.) Corrosion of Conformity - Live Volume
4.) Machine Head - Hellalive
5.) Filter - Title of Record

or Godsmack, or Metallica, or Guns'n'Roses ... hard to say

1) John Mayer - Any Given Thursday
2) Rush - Different Stages
3) John Mayer - Heavier Things
4) Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head/Parachutes MP3
5) Sevendust - Home/Animosity/Seasons MP3

This is all considering my girlfriend would be with me, since she gets bored with Hendrix.
