redline
Well, Redline comes out tomorrow.
I don't think I'm going to go out to see it. The nearest theater is 45 minutes away, and I think that the movie will be out on DVD before I get there to see it
My sure-fire reasons for why this movie is probably no good:
1) They are advertising it WAY too much on commercials
2) Their only website is a myspace page
3) Most of the cars are just the director's personal cars
4) There are no reviews on it (even the crappy movies get reviews)
5) The stunt scenes they show seem totally fake
So, I will probably wait til the DVD comes out. In all honesty, I can't make it to a theater any time soon, so the DVD will probably come out before I can make it to the theater

I just watched Redline last night. Not the best car movie ever made, but if you want to kill some time, go for it.
Somewhere past the beginning of the film, you'll see a Ford GT take on a Windveil Blue Cervini's Mustang GT C-500 at a track. The Stang spins out of control, but fortunately doesn't hit anything.

Time is money
, and I can think of much better things to waste time on if needed.
Redline would've been good if it had an actual storyline and some better camera angles. Also, the acting is horrid and majority of the characters are flat. Otherwise, it's better than 2 Fast 2 Furious and the 2000 Gone in 60 Seconds remake.
I thought the Gone in 60 seconds remake was pretty good. 2F2F could have been good, if they didn't use cheesy CG and wreck all the nice cars (read: they wrecked everything but the ugly Mitsubishi's)
The new Gone in 60 Seconds used some rather cheesy CG on the scene where Eleanor does the bridge jump. That's what killed the movie for me. 2F2F was basically a live-action cartoon. And I agree that the Mitsubishis should've been wrecked on that film.
