Wow
Truly cool. Man that thing did things I didn't think heliocopters could do
(Note to self....NOT for beginners...)

all that crazy flyin reminds me of when i try to fly the choppers in battlefield 1942 desert combat... i think it looks like that when i try to fly in a straight line.

I have a quick question...
I thought due to the principles a heliocopter worked on, that it couldn't hover upside down..which it did in that vid.... Among other things it did...

remote control chappers can Flip the attack angle of the rotor blades..making them work in reverse while still spinning normally (unside down plane wing). Real choppers can't do that. Well actually they can be made to but the pilots reflexes aren't quick enough to avert a disaster. The Pilot has to think of working in reverse when upsidedown and it's kinda mind blowing. At least this is how i understand it.
(chopper pilots feel free to chime in and shoot me down if wrong)

I heard there are choppers now that can do a barrel roll I beleive..I think the comanche can do this.

RC choppers have no worries about pilot reflexes and can work much quicker.

That was some awesome flying. My first and only attempt looked just like that.....except it lasted about 4 seconds and ended with a trip to the local hobby store

Yeah, the Comanche (or is it the Apache?) can do a complete vertical 360 in midair.

Cool

My first step into the model airplanes ended in flames...really.

Bought a kit for ~400 bucks. Put it together over two weekends. Then on it's first flight, I was taxi-ing and all of a sudden it shot straight up at full throttle, then came straight down at full throttle...I never want to hear that sound again...
It was this wwwwwaaaaaAAAAAAAA!!!!!!CRUNCH!!... ouch..

The crash cracked the fuel tank and sparks from the grinding metal started a fire...It was actually pretty cool...

I know that sound.......I call it "painful entertainment."

My airplane made it not too long ago. R.I.P.

"Hate to tell you this, but that page ain't here.
Seriously. It's not.
404 baby. 40-freakin'-4.
I even tried multi,
which is much more than I do for most folks.
Most times, I just zap up a blank page
and give the old 404 rap,_"

The Commanche was cancelled either last year or the year before.
