sitting on my retirement money and out of work i start thinking about starting some kind of business .. i like the dustless blasting idea . i know a few car builders in the area .. i`m personal friends with my local county commissioner and probably could get some work thru him removing graffiti from bridges and such .. then i do a search for dustless blasting and there are no less than 10 already in huntsville and madison county doing it ..... BLAHH !!!

 

i am quite pleased with myself .. i have began watching jeopardy lately and find that on most episodes i get most of the answers correct more often than the contestants .. even yesterday all three missed the final jeopardy answer but i got it right ...i have read somewhere that the contestants get a list of all possible questions to study up on .. seems kind of pointless .. there are a few categories that come up that i cant reply to but not many ...

 

In my 20's I was really good at it. So good my wife would encourage me to go on the show. Sometimes I would show off when we had company over and the show was on. But now as I've started watching again I find I'm pretty stupid. I've forgotten all the trivial or trivia things I once knew. I feel so stupid now.

 

i was once infatuated with a girl from saskatoon .. she was on streetfire back with LEE and myself .. i sent her many hundreds of $`s .. LEE tried to tell me better ..

i know better .. i tell myself that every tuesday .. my neighbor does his shopping on tuesdays .. and every time he stops in and asks if i want to go with him .. of coarse i do .. i`m bored out of my mind .. anywho he does the same routine every time and it is so annoying but i had to go .. he goes to a smoking store to buy his cigarettes .. i dont know what it saves him .. he goes to the dollar store to buy dog treats .. he goes to walmart to buy bread and milk and complains all the time of how crowded it is and how long it takes to check out .. he goes to a local grocery store to buy meats and other eats ..then after passing 5 places to fill up his truck we drive 10 miles to the only shell station in north bama .. this takes about 2 hours .. helps me get thru the day i guess ...

 

NHRA starts up this weekend if anyone gives a hoot ... Chevy Stock ( formerly Pro Stock ) has 13 crapmaros entered ...

 

They change it to Chevy Stock because Amateur Stock had a bad ring to it?

someone has stolen the tag off my pinto !!! .. why would someone do that ? .. i am not sure when it happened .. i have driven it more lately .. i just noticed it today ..i cant believe that two tight screws could have backed off on their own ..i am due for new tags in june anyway .. i have antique tags for the pinto and stang that i want to try and use from now on .. a 1969 and a 1973 tag ...

rainy miserable day here in north bama .. i think i`ll just stay inside and drink beer all day .. wait !!! i do that anyway ... HA !

 

for the past few weeks on the days that there has been somewhat bareable weather i have been picking up trash off the side of a street near me ..i dont know why but iv`e begin to notice how crappy most of the roads look with so much litter ..it gives me something to do for a couple of hours in my neverending boredom .. anywho once in a great while someone will blow at me .. i have no clue who they are ,, one time a fellow even stopped and thanked me for doing what i was doing .. he said he lived nearby and appreciated seeing a clean hiway .. i thought to meself .. have i ever seen you picking up any of this ? ... HA !! i thanked him and said it gave me something to do .. in a stretch of about 1/4 mile i have picked up 7 40 gallon garbage bags full of mostly plastic water and coke bottles .. the first bag i brought home and put in with my garbage as i never have a full can .. the next 2 bags i left on the side of the street to get them later and much to my surprise they were gone in a few days .. i just imagine the county picked them up .. i am friends with the county commissioner and the next time i see him i will thank him for having the bags picked up ..he will most likely thank me for picking up the trash and i will mention that i`d like to have a job doing that very thing ... everything has motives ...
