I never get viruses either. Macs don't get viruses because most are targeted at Windows due to the larger user base. I don't like Mac because of the user interface. I have to have a task bar because I usually have 5 or 6 windows open and it takes to much time to minimize to find the one I need.
Switch to Linux. Problem solved.
BTW if you know of a better way to navigate with Macs please share cause we use them at school.

have you tried using expose? its in os 10.4, great little tool to allow you to switch between open apps. www.apple.com
Expose
also, the lack of viruses is partly due to smaller market share, but more so due to the inherent security of the Unix kernel that OS X is built on

Thanks for the link Vinny.
I don't know if I'll be able to install it at school, but with something like that I may own a Mac someday. Now all I need is to be able to maximize a window to the screen rather than resizing it manually.
And is that available on all versions of OS X or just Tiger like the dashboard? Alot of ours are running Jaguar? I think.

its available in 10.3 Jaguar also. go to the apple menu on the top left, system preferences, and there should be an expose type feature there. if not, type in expose in the search area and it'll come up.
I have mine set so when i move the mouse to the lower left corner of the screen, it triggers expose, so i dont have to hit the proper F key. its much easier that way to switch b/w windows than with the windows taskbar.

Here's the one on my desktop. My lappy is hard to find on for, being widescreen.
And I know I'm gunna get it, but: Macs smell.

Now I want to try and build a OS x86 Mac. But I got to find $200 for a suitable Intel machine... and hope it would even work.
