It is isn't it. Perhaps the most disturbing thing about the gentleman down the road from us is that behind the counter he has all of these plaques for awards and community services

In SC they have been convicted, some by a jury, some by a judge, and have served there time and got out.

 

I think its the same here Donna. Have in some way been convicted.

I believe they have to be convicted here too.

PA law states that you cannot use this site to harrass or abuse these individuals with the information and rightly so. In PA they don't give the address at all either, just the township or borough where they live.

I do my best to try to give people the benefit of the doubt. They're still human beings after all and many of them do get rehabilitated.

 

Great information Andy, and Scott. It is very scary to see how many people are so close to where you and your children are!!!

My oldest is 13, and she will whine and complain that her dad and I wont drop her off at the mall to hang out with her friends. But, losing my kids is my biggest fear. No matter where we go, we stay together. Even in Walmart we all have to be in eyesight of each other.

Such a simple way to protect your kids.... sure, my 2 girls don't realize it now, but they will be grateful one day.

I think its sad and stupid the crap these people do. Sexual predators, what idiots. The correct punishment for this is the death penalty. It is sad how just because someone wants to be stupid a family member has to die.

 

Oh no, you did not offend me at all. This guys case was probably one in a million. Its just sad because he is only 20 years old now and he has to live with this all his life. He spent 18 months in prison and had just turned 18 when the parents of his girlfriend decided to pull this crap. The girl had been his girlfriend for 4 years. He was sentenced in front of a judge and the father of the girl was a highly respected community member. In his case it was truly consensual and he had just turned 18 his self.

 

I've heard of junk like that before. Just because the parents wanted revenge or whatever...or the girl has second thoughts. That angers me.

 

Thats ridiculous Hopefully he gets justice someday. Some people are so vindictive :angry:
