Anybody watch the first episode?

1997 Camaro vs. 2000 Trans-Am

I thought it was pretty good, but to many commercials.

The owner of the Camaro won the Trans-Am, but he's engine blew on the last run.

 

Never heard of it....but it sounds cool, i'll have to check it out now. Thanks for mentioning it.

 

I saw it, it was ok. I wanna see some real cars next time, not a camaro that barely runs and some lightly mod'd trans am.

 

I personaly thought it was a load of bull. Just seems like omething to take up air time. I would rather see shows like Horsepower and Trucks on Spike TV. They just seem to deal more with the stuff I like.

 

Yeah, i thought they should of used a tree and not "lengths" more like tenths and bracket raced.

 

oOoOh, I really wanted to see Pinks. The promo's showed a Shelby GT500.

their was no shelby, we didnt used to have satelite for like 2 years because they raised the price like 15 bucks a month. i didnt really miss it, but now that we have it again i love it.

 

dammit! didnt even know about this show. i need Speed channel

 

Well . . at least the show is better than the NASCAR shows that SPEED shows the remaining 20hrs of the day . . .

Like Doug said, I would have liked to have seen straight up racing, and not negotiating and the like.

 

man arin, it must stink azz to not have speed channel....i would never put up my ride though....unless it was crappy

 

the negotiating was BS, it should of been heads up or bracket racing with real trees or street racing, but with the cars running heads up

 

negotiating? they didnt show that in the promo

 

yeah, like a street race they negotiated on the terms of each run, they did a best 2 out of 3

 

I didn't get to catch the episode, but were they doing this on the street or at the track? I hope they were "negotiating" at the track!

Anything that promotes street racing cannot be good for the "hobby" (Read: Mustangs).

 

It's on a 1/4 mile track. I don't like the negotiating part, I like head to head racing. If I thought I could take another car (after looking under the hood) I would run head to head.

 

This weeks episode is about motorcycles, whats next? Diesel F-350s?
