If any tree-hugging Hippie gave that to one of my kids, I really don't know if I could keep myself from beating the crud out of them! It is my responsibility as a father to teach my children about life, not PETA's. If my child wants to become a vegetarian, that's their choice when they are old enough.
I do know that if my wife had a fur coat (not that she is into that) and some freak tossed red paint on her, there would be a severe beat-down coming! I would not be too upset about the coat, that can be replaced, I would be upset about the assault on my wife. Assaulting a woman is something I cannot understand or tolerate.
Okay, I'm done ranting. I don't believe that I ranted for that long. Maybe it is the lack of sleep and too much caffeine.

Any organization that tries to bully their views on others is not "ethical"

Look at it this way... more steak and hamburgers for us

Even the New Testament give the big "ok" to eat whatever you want!

Arrrgh...
Don't get these folks started on anything related to religion, most of them are probably agnostics/athiests anyway.

That's a baseless statement. Keep in mind that PETA has stated that only vegetarians can be truly observant Christians, Jews, Mormons, and Muslims.

Somehow PETA went terribly wrong.
Do I have anyone who wants to join a new group: PAVE?

---Against
---Vegetable
---Eating

Good point, I wonder what PETA's views on Darwinism are?

Trying to inject logical thought into religious dogma is a losing game. Though this would be a good question to mail to PETA.

PETA must have forgotten to give one of those comics to Jesus before He preached the sermon on the mount.

I'm pretty sure they'll say that we have evolved into logical beings, capable of controlling our "animal instinct," or something like that.

Ya, not sure what has happened to PETA. I understand some of it, like things they say about KFC, inhumane treatment of animals, etc, but seriously, a comic book

"Eating fish rots your brain"?! WTF is wrong with that guy?!
Vegetarian because it's supposed to be cool, environmentalist because that's what nerds become when they grow up and really not the brightest ex-hippie around, since he can't actually answer a question to support his point.

Here's what I have to say to him:
"The bums lost, Mr. Lebowski! Your revolution is over. I suggest you do what your parents did: get a job!"
And a life, I might add. And read some books. You might find out that the healthiest nation on the planet are the Japanese, mainly because of their fish and seafood diet.

...what a moron!

Have I told anyone that I LOVE veal! I had it a year ago and it is at the top of my favorite foods.

Lisa: "Eww, Dad don't you have anything that didn't die a horrible death?"
Homer: "Well, um, I think the veal died of loneliness."
one of my favorite all time simpsons quotes.

I'll tell ya, the veal thing is pretty pathetic. I will agree with PeTA on that one. That is as long as they're against it generally and not wanting to put people in cages as protest or something stupid like that.

I'm not going to throw a bucket of veal blood on you at the local eatery though. I just don't eat it.
