I would still get it, as it is still slightly better than the Ivy bridge, and around the same price.
Also after reading some more, it's suppose to be a PITA to overclock, due to it not being able tolerate much heat .

Ohhhh, all the ones I've seen just say 3.5 ( usually it will also say the max turbo boost freq. but I guess not this time ) either way I'd be interested on how well it works for you.
Eyes don't see in fps, there's no proof your eyes stop noticing differences at any fps, just theories that can't be proven one way or the other. Regardless I can instantly tell a difference when I drop below 100, just like others can when they drop to 40 from 60.

Seventy-five is the high end of the frequency, and it's rare that a person has the visual acuity to differentiate frames that are being presented at 75fps.

, just an i7 HP laptop . I don't really have time for games anymore but I am considering building one, hopefully it will be ready for when BF4 comes out
