So sad. It was the fast and the furious that got me into cars. Still love that movie to this day.

Just found out, Ethan I am with ya. I wonder how this will change the filming of the 7th movie. He will be missed.

Loved his movies…other than Fast and Furious I think one of his best was Joy Ride. He will be missed.

I just read this, seems like the driver and Walker were hooning it with the Carrera GT and lost control.

"Hooning it" may be a bit of an understatement.

Most of the destruction you see came from the fire. Melted all the carbon fiber.

Watching The Fast and The Furious...

I feel like I grew up on these movies, fueling my passion for the car scene, sad for the loss as his character could be considered iconic in my generation of car guys.

People know him from the movies, but he was also a genuine car guy.

Never a good day to lose one of our own.

I'll be "burning some" later today in honor of Brian O'Conner. Godspeed, Mr. Walker.

Burning some, meaning smokin' the tires a bit. A fitting send off, I think.

Man that is a horrible way to go. Horrible. Hopefully he was unconscious or something. Very very sad.

Not sure how fitting that is considering that is precisely what Paul and his friend were doing that got them killed. Police say there are obvious signs that they were doing doughnuts and burnouts just before the crash.

Looking at the photos, there's a pole sticking out of where the passenger seat would be. If he wasn't driving, as as been alluded to previously, I doubt he was alive by the time the car caught fire. I know cars aren't the steel tanks of yesteryear, but you've got to be going really fast in the wrong kind of ways to end up making a car look like an Indy car that just hit the wall.

I was about 15 years old when f&f came out. Started me down the car path.

Very sad. Going to watch f&f today and have a corona in his honor.
