I have a honda accord that just went into the body shop for repair and at the same time I wanted to upgrade. So, I got a black hood and new rims and tires. I thought I'd show it off on this other forums site for hondas. Big mistake. I got nothing but criticism. They told me it was ugly or they didn't get what/why I did that. I am on a rant. sorry. Just thought I'd tell some nice people at this forums site. I can count on u guys/gals.

yeah i wouldn't get too worked up for a message board. i mean, you have to understand that when you post up an opinion or ask for opinions, you have to be willing to take what they dish out. but then again, its just a web site, so nothing to be upset about.

 

I like it. Its subtle, not too overdone but flashy. Who cares what they think its YOUR car and thats what counts!

If you want to see rude, spend a little time on the "other" Mustang site. It's why I've pretty much stopped going there. This site is a whole lot friendlier.

personally, i dont like the hood (doesnt look that great on imports, IMO), but the wheels are a nice touch. its your car and im glad you like it.

dont worry about what other ppl say. ppl tell me im a poser and that i drive a fake stang every day (actually its only one person, but whatever) i dont care what they say, all i know is im a nice guy with a cool car and he's a stuck up ignorant **** whose mommy and daddy buy everything for him.

remember, the only opinion that should matter is your own!

 

Who the heck called your II a fake Mustang. You can tell them that the II is one of the reasons the Stang is still around. Arghh... ignorance!!! :bang:

 

the person who called my II a fake stang is the same who wrecked his 95 GT at 16, his brand new fully loaded 03 GT (tried to make a drive thru out of a deli, and damaged a dodge ram, a BMW and Mercedes at the same time. deli owner said it was lucky business was slow cuz the spot he destroyed is usually packed. could have easily killed 5-6 ppl, not to mention other drivers and his passenger. oh and did i mention this was when he left school campus @ lunch?) and recently bought a jeep cuz "im tired of being fast. i think ill let my friends be fast, cuz i've been hoggin the spotlight". not to mention the fact that he's banned from the parking lot already cuz he was doing donuts in the rain while ppl were trying to get into their cars and he thinks automatic equipped GTs are the fastest things ever and that he took down a brand new M3 ignorance

oh and did i mention that his parents payed for everything? what a spoiled little donkey doughnut. HE is the reason im going to do everything to my car with my own money and be responsible about it. to show his sorry hiney that IIs are not crap, and that there are responsible teenagers out there.

this is what happens when you dont earn something, you take it for granted and get spoiled. on of the main reasons im proud to have paid for my II all on my own.

I'm not a big fan of the hoods either. But to each his own.

I think the wheels look pretty good. And as others have said, it's your ride man. Don't take everything to heart that people say. Alot of them are jealous, or have such low self esteem that they feel better if they dog someone out. Enjoy your ride man!!
