Norris Dam.

Norris Dam is around 10 miles from my house. With all the rain (5 inches above normal) we have been having, T.V.A. has to let the Dam overflow ever once in a while. This is only the third time i've 'personally' seen water flowing over the top of the dam in my life, and i'm old (58) . It is very beautiful to watch, the sound of the water falling and the fine mist in the air. Here are a few pictures of the Dam.

Yep. Its Norris Lake on the other (deep) side of the dam. The water in the picture (shallow side of the dam) is the Clinch River.
