Nintendo @ E3
I just got back from the cottage, and missed some COOL E3 news.
Nintendo did VERY well..holy CRAP!!!
-Viewtiful Joe 2
-Resident Evil 4
-Metroid Prime 2:Echoes
-WWE Day of Reckoning
-Nintendo DS (which looks AMAZING...PSP looks great, but the DS has SO many COOL features.... dual screen, dual processor, plays 1gb sticks of ram (games) and has a backwards slot for GBA games, stylus. Played Mario64 in 3d and Metroid Prime Hunters in 3d --> Looks EXACTLY like Prime for Cube HANDHELD!)
-NEW ZELDA.
These screenshots says it ALL!!!!!
(all in REALTIME game footage...no CG used...these are REAL)

go to www.gamespot.com all the screens, GT4 info, etc.
PSP and DS look great
both have WI-Fi
I like the fact that on the DS you can put it in a challange mode, where if anyone in a certain area around you is in the same mode you are...it will wake up and connect to you, and you can play them.
Like if your on a train, commuting or something....turn it on, and search for competitors, you can join a game in progress etc.
Touch screen is cool, so many different things you can do with it.
Both PSP and DS will have amazing graphics, no DOUBT.
I just think the DS has more going for it, other than just graphics...but thats just me.
I too am waiting for Doom3, Quake4...heck...I've been waiting eons for Duke Nukem 4ever.
Deep down I'm a nintendo guy. Always have been, always will be...as long as they release great games that are awsome.

That's not what a dragon really looks like. And elfs, on average are 15% shorter then shown.

And Link ain't exactly an elf...even though he keeps some of those features

I can't wait for this shizzle
One thing IGN said, and I have to agree with them...
Because the PSP is basically a PS2 in portable form, the product cycle for developement is going to be HUGE...the one way around this is to basically PORT games from the PS2 over to the PSP...in which case...I love games and all...but I'm not going to shell out twice for a game...once to play on the portable unit, when I can buy it and play it on the 53" tv I have at home.
They better come out with some good quality stuff for that unit alone!!
Otherwise its going to be just hardcore gamers buying that 'expensive unit' and that can't make a handheld survive very long.
THe DS is backwards compatible with GBA games, which is cool, and I think its a replacement eventually for the GBA, even though they say it isn't.

hehe, they are still pretty biased.
All the guys on ps2.ign.com are like "PSP PSP"
and the guys on cube.ign.com are like "DS DS!"
I only go there for coverage, not really their expert views

Yeah, it's that credibility they lost way back. I hated how the coverage began to lack. Plus, all that insider bullpooake-mushrooms put me off. It was horrible when insiders got access to all the stories first.
