Newest Star Trek Model Build
Been building models for nearly 20 years as a hobby. This is my latest one. I'm not a master builder, but this IS one of the better/most accurate one's I've done. It's not a masterpiece, but it's still pretty good in my opinion. Just wanted to share. Opinions, good or bad are welcome. Thanks for looking!...

I would like to first if say its incredibly nerdy to even make something like that. Let me clarify by saying I mean that as the ultimate compliment. I take pride in my nerditude but lack the skill you have shown. That is amazing!

LOVE IT!
the ST I to ST VI is my favorite design of the Enterprise by far. i just wish they didn't keep changing the design of the bridge with every movie. i'm also partial to the 1701-E and the 1701 from the 2009 movie.
don't suppose you've built one from the latest movie have you? i just about flipped out when i found the newest 1701 that Hot Wheels just came out with.

Thought about branching off into the 'Wars world, but I don't have enough experience with reference materials to accurately build a monstrosity like that. I don't have room enough as it is. Most of my free space is occupied by arcade machines.

Looks pretty good. I've considered the kit but already have a huge collection and don't feel like spending $100+ on it to then figure out where I can display it.
I've been building off and on about 40 years now I think. Some of my stuff.

Agreed. Eventually you're gonna get the itch again though
