With the 24 Hours of Le Mans upon us anybody want to partake in a GT4 Circuit de la Sarthe II challenge?

This time let's try race cars (EXCEPT for the F1).

I haven't played GT4 in over 6 months so it may take a while to get my groove back.

I need to practice with a couple cars as well to see which one I like best.

As before, no nitrous. I think most realize not to use, but just wanted to state for those who may be new.

 

just put it on B-spec, go to sleep, go to work come home and be donw with it ;-)

 

LOL! Maybe I should clarify. One need not enter into the actual 24hr race, but gather a 'fast lap' using 'pratice', 'family cup' or other.

 

LOL yeah its just a one lap run at that track...not the actual 24hr race....

so what was your time "24hrs" "whoa that is the same time i got!"

 

Yeah, we'd have to go by lap count if we did the 24hr race.

 

Off topic a tad but is the 24hr on GT4 actually 24 hours?

 

count me in, but I dont have much practice with that track, and I have no idea what car to use.

Yeah Doug, if you leave it on A-spec it is 24 hours, if you use B-spec you can speed it up 3x

 

Holy crap..real 24 hours..that would be coool to do and pull into the pits ..hand your mate the controller and continue on while you caught some sleep...very cool

 

yep it would be awesome to do... but it is literaly impossible for me to get 24hrs uninterupted with my family.


The only disappointment in the 24hr race is that the lighting always stays the same on the track the whole time unlike some of the PC simulation games that have changing time of day and weather.

 

you mean it doesn't get dark or light??? so it ends up like ground hogday then hehehe

 

yeah they must have rebuilt a nurburgring in the artic circle so its day the whole time.

Well with the Audi R8 and my crew chiefs tuning advice, i've gotten a drastic drop.

Now to just practice and get the mistakes out of my laps.
