Need Opinions: handheld, aftermarket GPS system recommendations!

I am wondering what you guys have to recommend for GPS systems. My dad is planning on getting one for my mom for Christmas. I have a Garmin Nuvi but it is lacking some features and easy of use for my mom. I think she wants possibly ones that have realtime traffic updates, and easy of entry data, and atleast a 3.5-4 inch screen. HMMM Anyone wanna tell me what they have and would choose? Thanks!

I have a tomtom xl330 I like it alot. Its nice and flat so I can put it in my back pocket if I want to carry it along with me. Also has the map share which I haven't used yet. I guess there are some units out there that do the automatic updates also.

I have Garmin Nuvi 760 and really like it. Mine has the traffic option, but it does require a subscription.
