Need computer help

How do you fix a disk boot error? I already tryed chkdsk.

Use chkdsk /p. If it can't repair all of the errors, it's toast. Even if it does boot up, it's time to get a new drive. Hope you have everything backed up!

You can load up the XP boot disk and go into the recovery console and do a FIXMBR.

I dont have a XP boot disk.

try running FIXMBR in the command prompt
