go pistons
im a mavericks fan
but im an avid laker hater lol
pistons in 6!
There D is just to hard nosed for the fakers
Detroit will stop everyone in the lakers, and contain shaq as much as possible (which shouldnt be a problem with the Wallace's).

I'm hopping Pistons in 6, but that's impossible because Stern being behind Lakers. Get real people, Payton and Malone can't retire without winning championchip and David Stern will do anything to make that happend.

I'm Sacramento Kings fan and I really hate Fakers.

Here is another interesting fact:
In game 6 of Kings-Timberwolves series Anthony Peeler was ejected and suspended for 2 games + $$$ for elbowing Kevin Garnett. Karl Malone did exactly same thing to Darrick Martin (Timberwolves) and he only got $$$ fined, no suspension. There are some other things, like that Fisher's winning shot at game 5 of Spurs-Lakers series (its impossible to catch ball, turn around, and shot in 0.4 sec).

Now you tell me how fair is that? If Fakers have to win championchip, just give them trophy now, don't give other teams hope that they can win championchip.

I don't know man, Fisher's 0.4-second shot seemed legitimate to me.

And Martin got suspended because he sent an elbow above the shoulders, a far more serious offense.

Me personally, I believe that the NBA is fixed. The Lakers will win just because it is to be. I can't stand them but that's the way I feel. I haven't really watched a game in a while because of this. I do watch the NCAA tourney. They play with heart, not just for a check.

I just had this discusasion with my brother. Use to be something called traveling - now you can run half way down the court for a layup. Use to be goal-tending. use to be charging, use to be all sorts of stuff.

The NBA was once a game of finesse. Now its hack-a-shaq, 3-point shots, 22 steps to a lay-up, bump and pushes and loud personalities. I'm not saying they don't have skill, they just aren't playing Bbabll anymore.

Maybe that's why so few people care anymore.

basketball being fixed????
fishers shot not being legitimate???
where do you guys come up with this stuff, this aint boxing we're talking about here.
I saw fisher's shot like a million times (i live in los angeles county), and everytime it is unbelievable, i hate the lakers but that was one amazing legitimate shot.
fixed games??? i dont believe that these athletes that are already receiving millions, and working out like mad men to get in shape and working on their game 24/7 would throw a game. seems ridiculous to me. or maybe its that your team never wins and you need a reason to explain their woes j/k

I predict that I will not watch a single minute. Pro basketball in its current form is a disgrace to the game.

Tis true, I don't think the NBA is fixed. However, well known players (or players on well known teams) do seem to get more breaks then the average joe.

But, even if its not fixed, the current form of the NBA sucks.

its very true that some players get special treatment, it pises me off. oh well. pro sports have been getting into some knee deep stuff, but college sports isnt any better, sad to say. just look at all the scandals, colorado footbal, michigan basketball, that idiotic immature maurice clarett.
where have the true sports gone?

Thanks.

I agree about pro-sports. However -- I still like the NFL and the NHL if MLB wants to win me back over, they need to not strike again for about 20 years and get serious about steriod and other drug use.

But, we're getting off topic, aren't we?

Pistons in 7, after Shaq goes down in the 3rd game with a foot injury.
