Power Of Omens had been my favorite band since my Junior Year in High School, 6 years ago. They only released two albums, but they were both amazingly mind-blowing. This is a one of-a-kind band... there will be no other band that will sound like this imo.

i guess i can say yes to that...

Blink 182s last album wasnt nearly as good as their old ones and the only thing in the forseeable future is a "greatest hits list"

bah, settling down and making families is what most of them are dowin now... but hey, thats life

i dont have to like it tho <_<

I went through the Smashing Pumpkins, and then Rage Against The Machine.. i hate it when things like that happen. I just hope a few bands I love now never split.

Sometimes there is a silver lining in a favorite band breaking up.

Take for example Audioslave and Velvet Revolver. Those two bands made spectacular albums from the remnants of two of my favorite bands.

On another note, a great Canadain band broke up a week ago, the Tea Party. I don't think they get much if any airplay in the states, but if anyone likes eastern-influenced rock, check them out.

That's true I guess. Their original drummer (my favorite drummer) left a year ago, and now he is in an amazing project. The guitarist is going to follow his classical guitar project, which is pretty good.
Time will tell

WHAT!??? I never heard the Tea Party broke up. That sucks so much, they are one of the few new bands that I like, and pretty much the only Canadian band i like. And for anyone who hasnt heard of them theyre awesome. Think new age David Bowie (another favorite).

Two of my favorite new bands. Love VR and Audioslave with a burning desire.

I don't think any of my bands have broken up while I've been listening to them... But I know my friend was pretty upset after Bayside's drummer being killed yesterday.

Oh, and look! It's Audioslave, on AOL Radio!
