Good luck Trent! You headed to Houston or Victoria?
I hope he gets the job. And if he does he will be glad it is 14 on and 14 off. I lived in Midland for 7 months in 1976. If it had not been my first job and just married, that would have been the most boring "5 years" of my life. There is nothing out there
Good luck Amie. I hope they don't keep you waiting too long, that is the worst part of job hunting, the waiting to hear. But keep in mind that day to day running the company is their first prioroty while filling an open position may be the 2nd, 3rd, or lower priority. That is why it is hard to be patient when finding a job is your top priority. Just some free (and useless) advice from an oldie that has been on both sides of the fence.

and that's not useless advice! I know someone is stepping down so the company has been super busy.
I can remember how excited we were when a Wendy's opened while we were there. That is a good example of what's happening in Midland-Odessa. But it was in the 70's. Another good example is whenever I would ask a longtime resident what was good about the area, they would respond, "This is a great place to raise a family." that told me that the only thing to do was...., well you can guess the answer to that.
