Cool Music Music Music

My Mustang is the first vehicle I've owned with SIRIUS radio. While I love the choices, and no commercials, When I'm on the Highway cruising I still pop in a Beach Boys Cd or one of the more recent Dion Cd's.

Also like Rascals, and Ventures. Guess I'm stuck in the 60"s.

So what do you all listen to when cruising ???

My Mustang is also the first car I have owned with Sirius. I love it, especially for around $9 per month (yearly rate when you call and not renew). I tune in to the 60's, '70's, 80's most of the time. The DJ in the morning on the 60's channel is annoying to me though so I usually have to wait until after lunch for the '60's when the DJ format goes away. I save my CDs for my other cars where I don't have the choice.

Classic Rock on the radio; Allman Brothers or ZZ Top on CDs.

Have a severe allergy to Paul McCartney and Wings or any of the "screaming tenor" bands-- Journey, Boston, Kansas, etc.

I have a USB thumb drive in my 2014 and have over 250 albums on it. There are some latin (Brasil 66, etc.), some Italian (Pavarotti, Il Volo, etc.), a variety of classical (but nothing too modern), quite a lot of jazz (heavy to Miles Davis), and a lot of popular (including groups like The Eagles, some Tony Bennett, and quite a variety of others), but NO country.

Is that really necessary?

We each have our own tastes. I don't like country, but if you do that's your choice and I respect it. You may not like opera but I do. Just as I should respect your choice to dislike opera, you should respect my choice to like it. And I will not take offense at your dislikes.

The line between Country and Pop has become so blurred, i don't see the point pf distinguishing between the two. Its disposable music.

Most of todays pop, and country is over produced garbage. Seems like they repeat the same verse for 5 minutes. Thats why I listen to rock, hard rock, and metal. Mostly Godsmack, old Metallica, STP, Seether, Korn, and Chevelle.

Most of the time, it's this new group that came out last year, called the Five-Point-Eight-Liters. Also some Superchargers stuff mixed in there as well.

Depends on my mood, but country music is never allowed in my car.
