it has been confirmed. Whoever made the bombs did a bad job, the bobms were the same as two weeks ago, but the detonators didn't fire the main bombs....... 4 bombs, none exploded.

James,

Glad to see you are OK. Thought about you as soon as I heard about the bomb. Thank heaven the bombs didn't work rite. Most likley the Dumb A##es had used the people who knew how to make the bombs by allowing them to be blown up the last time. Bad for them. but good for you.

Any how glad you are OK.

Good! If he was associated with them then I don't feel the least bit of pity for him. I try to be morally correct but man oh man, sometimes emotions just overflow.

British cops have guns? I thought they just detained people with batons and harsh language...<_<

Score one for the good guys, though.

Yikes! Someone at work asked me "Why didn't they just bring him in, they didn't have to shoot him?"

I just looked at her and said "Lets see you walk up to some terrorist and ask him to kindly not blow you up!"

Turns out he wasn't one of the bobmers, but was implicated in the 7/7 bombs. When he ran towards tube train and leapt the barriers, the police tailing him thought he was going to blow himself up, so killed him. He was wearing a puffa jacket (deep winter jacket, really padded, easy to conceal things) in the middle of summer, the police took no chances.

You're absolutely correct. You can't take chances in that situation. It was either take him out or risk another attack. They did what they needed to do and executed it perfectly
