Agreed, somebody needs to do the right thing and drop a nuke on it, better that it be reduced to cosmic dust than continue its miserable exsistance as Seth Brundle and Satans love child.

It's not a fart can.
Ok, how about an external engine noise amplifying canister from heck.

Oh man, that was hilarious. Like how the announcer finds it harder and harder to pronounce the taglines overrun with "3"s.

Umm, am I the only one who might be able to appreciate that? It is pretty easy to get over 600hp from the RB26DETT on a stock block, and it could weigh half as much as the original Ford V8. How is that a bad thing? Just because it isn't a Ford product?

What if it was an LS1? Would that have been OK?

Sometimes myopic brand loyalty is severely misplaced. Lighten up, and learn to appreciate quality components -- no matter who makes them.

Sheez, I am starting to sound like an anti-racism commercial.

As far as the movie is concerned, I find it really ridiculous that someone would choose a classic Mustang as a drifiting platform. That makes no sense what-so-ever. But, given that, the tuners over there would easily consider putting in an RB26DETT as they are readily available, and they know how to tune them. Just like we in America would stick to the V8's and going straight, as that is what we know.

Flame away.

The RB25DET weighs 420lbs not that much lighter then an old iron V8. Thats equal in weight to an LS1.

I think most people know of the RB25's potential for power.. But the sound that they make is just horrid. One of the key enjoyments of driving a mustang is the sound they make.

It has nothing to do with what country makes it..it just is not the way a mustang is supposed to sound.

Ok, fair enough, that engine can make power, but the fart can has to go!!!! It looks terrible on the back of that classic stang body!

And knight is right, the sound is gonna be nasty on that engine. I still think this is crossing the line.

Just my opinion.
