Who else is tired of all of the clutter from new members who join jus to sell stuff and than quit the forum? I really think its ridiculous that you only need a couple of posts just to sell on this because people join throw a couple of dumb posts out there and than pretty much spam up the forums. I really think the minimum post to sell requirement should be upped just to keep these type of people out

As long as they are not selling for business, and follow the rules, it is not a problem. Unfortunately, we cannot vet new members as to their intentions!

 

About the best you can do is what we have on the forum I admin on. You set a minimum number of posts and minimum membership time before a newb can get posting access to the 'Classifieds' section.

 

I know, I wish they would up the minimum post requirement that way people would at least have to be serious before they sell things, like maybe 50 posts
