Marine Corps Marathon
WELL....Yesterday I ran the Marine Corps Marathon in D.C. and it was a FANTASTIC time!!!! I finished in 4 hours 48 minutes....which was alright...at mile 16 my knee went out and later on I stopped to help a friend keep going...both added a pretty decent amount of time....overall I'm pleased being this was the first race I've ever run.....anybody else a runner?!?!?!?

I've done 25 marathons including Marine Corp, Boston, NY, Chicago and San Diego. I'm more into the triathlons now and have done Ironman Lake Placid and a few other full and half IMs. This year did Wine Glass Marathon in Corning, NY and 1/2 IM in Montreal (Esprit). Next year planning on doing 1/2 IMs in Tremblant and Poconos.
BTW - congratulations on completing your first marathon!

Thanks guys!!! It was definitely something I'm going to do again!!!!
Ethan...It's not something you can just wake up and do, heck just a couple months ago I thought I was crazy for trying but a little bit everyday helps and eventually it's not that bad....it's no picnic but it was much better than I anticipated!
