lost my job
I was a Store manager of a cell phone chain and my Boss came in today and told me that he couldn't afford to keep that location and my services wouldn't be required anymre.
So now I am out of a job.
I guess its fine, it was time for a change and maybe i will be able to find a art job like i really want. i'll be super tight on money til i get somthing but who knows.
But if anyone knows of some art positions in the northern Chicago suburbs let me know!

Dam dude sorry to hear about the loss. But if it's time for a change maybe you'll end up with a more enjoyable job that you love.
Good luck in the job hunt and if I hear of anything in that area i'll post it to ya.

Chris, I went through the same thing a few months back. It didn't take me long to find another job that I like much better than my old job. Chin up -- it will work out for the best, dude.

Hey Chris sorry to hear that, kinda sounds like what April goes through often. Maybe she could be of help if need. Glad your heads in the right spot, as myself I want diffent but I keep getting roped into staying. Hey maybe I could commission a print ? not a lot $ but something here & there helps.

You are young and he is not letting you go because you did poorly. Get a good reference from him and move on to beter things. 10 years from now you will not even blink when you think about it.

Chris mate...First off..sorry to hear it. I'm there myself as we speak.
Another mte of mine just lost his as well. Maybe we should start a club.
Keep your chin up!
Nope it isn't..to me a job is something you have to do. If you love your job then it's not a job..it's a hobby you get payed for.

Really, is it a job if you love it so much?

Thanks a lot everyone. I am really trying to keep my head up dispite the fact that i ahve been living paycheck to paycheck so i don't have any reserve money for this situation.
I have been applying to a bunch of companies today and have a good lead for an art job maybe.
Keep me in your prayers. thanks again.
