Last Father's DAy Surprise Plane Flight
Wife and kids gave me a flight in a WW2 B-17 bomber for Father's Day last year. What a trip. And what those brave pilots and crews went thru back then.
One pic is of the plane, Aluminum Overcast
One pic from inside the plexiglass nose [what a rush]
They had the top hatch off so i took a few shots out of the top of the plane while we were flying.

Awesome. WWII aircraft are awesome. Golden age of piston aircraft, IMO.

Saw these two at a show in FL a few months ago. it wa a Mustang / Mustang show cars and planes.
You got lucky to have flown in that plane before it crashed last year. Minor damage but it was taken out of service since last fall or so. That bomber is from my town of Oshkosh, WI. I see it quite often flying over my house and work. During the air show, we like to sit on the roof of work and watch all the planes fly around. I gotta say, I like the old Warbirds better than the newer jets, something about the sound of the engines, especially the P-51.
