Hey Galaxie and Evil Capri, is Velvet revolver - contraband really a good album??
So far it is good. I'll need to listen to it a few more times before I'll place it in the 'really good' category. I've only listen to the entire CD 3 times. When I was driving to TN over the weekend I listened to it 2 times. It has that sleezy L.A. feel to it, which is a good thing. Still, I kept trying to imagine what the CD would have sounded like with Axel.

Same here although I haven't had time to listen to the entire CD yet... I should be listening to it now but I feel the need for different kinds of music right now so I'm listening to AOL Radio. The CD is pretty good so far though.

Last 5 ?

Machine Head - Through the Ashes of Empires
Fear Factory - Archetype
Godsmack - Faceless
Hatebreed - Rise of Brutality
Front Line Assembly - Civilization

What is to say to ST ANGER? If you don't know it's Metallica, it's a nice album. Some tracks are really cool like Frantic or Some Kind of Monster ... but nothing compared to Ride the Lightning / Master of Puppets.

The Velvet Revolver Album is nice ... better than I expected. I always loved Stone Temple Pilots :-)

I liked them MUCH better before.
