Aight, after my Air Force debacle, I decided to get corrective surgery to fix my terrible vision. I've been legally blind since about the age of 11. Not like Helen Keller blind, but really freakin nearsighted blind. Anywho, if my eye mapping goes well tomorrow, I'll be getting Lasek on friday. Has anyone had this? Any problems? Let me know how well it worked for you. If it works, I could be back to serving my country in about a year!

I was thinking about it too. An ex-coworker had it done about a month ago. He loves it. Says it is so wonderful to wake up and see without putting glasses on.

I had it done about six years ago and love it. Price has dropped since then so that's even better for you who might get it done. No real problems. Any specific questions, just ask.

Well I'm not getting Lasik, I'm getting lasek. I guess my eyes stink WAY too bad to have lasik. And with lasek I guess there is pain involved for a few days. So I may have some painkillers for sale, just let me know

My wife got it done couple years ago and she loves it. She said the best thing is to wake up in the morning and not have to lean over and grab her glasses to see. She also said that when she was getting it done the laser they shot into her eye started out blurry and slowly got clearer. Oh, and she got a video of the procedure also.

I'm on the list to get it done through my naval base. I hear it takes a couple of years for them to get to you though. Good luck with yours!

well this is the first time since ive had it done that im able to se ewell enouch to post i guess since my eyes are worse than almost all it takes loner for me to heal. still cant see out my left eye real good though. feels like theres sand in it too. im the only person under 21 other than a 19 yr old pro drag racer that has had it done by this guy, so i think thats a good omen. eh, ill see if it was worth it when im finally done healed. thanks for the well wishing!
