Just thought this was funny...
Some (or maybe all) of you have probably seen this already, but I thought it was funny so have a look:
Take a few seconds to do this, I guarantee you will show someone else, it's too funny not to.
1. go to www.google.com
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions"
4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "London" in the second box (the "to" box) (hit get directions)
6. scroll down to step #23

The chinese government would not allow US based satellites to take photos of thier country.

Anyway, it's not true. You can get sat views of China, as well as streets an' such. Go look up Hong Kong and look at all the little boats! I haven't found a country that has been blocked. There are some places where you can't get a satellite photo of, such as some government buildings, though.
Here's a funny one: Do a Google Maps search for "weapons of mass destruction"
It shows a map of the US with 9 sites! lol
Too bad the Oval Office didn't come up...

The Google crew didn't do a thurough job. You only get the humor step if you go east to Europe. Going west to any of the Asian continent, Australia, or the poles, doesn't give directions.
I should try this on my Tom Tom.
