Im a a loss
Ok so I was chatting with this person who had a Honda and he said he made a 12 second run in his civic with bolt ons. I don't know anything about modding cars and such but that seems way too far fetched to me, am I correct?

Don't get high and mighty on him. A junkyard Honda with a big honkin' ebay turbo will blow your doors off if you aren't careful.

but keep in mind.. mod for mod the mustang gets more power..
honda CAI+tune = 5hp
mustang CAI+tune = 35hp
its apple to orange to put a stock car against a modded car in general.

Then what would win my 5.0 with a turbo or a civic with a turbo?

unless the civic is really built I would have to say the mustang would. A civic with 400-500 hp is a wild beast and really is not something you would see as a daily driver.

Bet I could make double that with a turbo on my 5.0 but I don't really wana spend the money on it. I don't really see the point in making that much power for a car that will never see the track, much less a cheap car that was never meant to see the track like a civic.
