I heard a really good review of it this morning, it's supposed to be a lot better than the other Batman movies, and truer to the comic books. I want to see it now too! Let us know what you think, without spoiling it of course.

Batman was awesome, probably one of the best movies Iv'e seen! It makes all the other Batman movies look cheesy(because they are). I'd rate it better than the Hulk, Spiderman and Spiderman 2!

Out of 5 possible bananas I give it(drumroll) :

I totally agree. This is by far the best Batman movie of them all! I'm going to see it again this weekend!!

Its dark. And dark in a good way. Only Batman might be as dark Batman Begins, but Begins is setup in a much more "contemporary" world. One that is more comparable to NYC than the gothic world made in the Batman movie with Keaton. It does a great job of building up Bruce, why he fights, how he gets "all those wonderful toys" (Nicholson ), and how the relations build up with his friends and Gordon.

I want the DVD now!!!

The enviroment in Batman Begins in very believable, were previous Batman movies made Gotham and Batman so out there that you couldn't really connect with the story! The lighting (or the lack there of) was perfect and set the tone of despair, hopelessness, and evil in Gotham.

Cool I'll have to see it. I skipped Star Wars because I was so disappointed in the previous two.

I want to see "Land of the Dead" also. I love Romero movies

Did you guys love the scene where you first see him in full costume and the guy asked "Who are you?" and he says 'I'm Batman!"? The audience cheered during the showing I attended. I wasn't sure how Christian Bale would do as Bruce Wayne/Batman but I think he did a great job. I definitely give it a

That was a hella cool scene. At the time I saw it, though...were only maybe 12 people in the theater.

Like I said, I'm seeing this in the theater again...and its been a looong time since I've done that for any one movie.

I saw it last night and though it was pretty good. The only exception is the freaking camera editing during the fight scenes. Man, that's a huge pet peeve of mine. Hold the frikkin camera still, pan back, and show some good fight choreography. Was that an elbow?... a foot?... whose foot?... BAH!!!! The biggest :nono: for a fight scene is screwing with the camera. 5 different camera shots in less than a second!!!! WTF! Just ticks me off, especially in an otherwise good movie. [/rant]

I just saw it, great movie! You know all the scenes at the beginning with the fight training in tibet or something like that, that was Iceland. The road they dumped his butt off on after he got released from the jail, been there and hiked to the glacier. Pretty cool they pulled it off like that.
