if it didnt require a basically totally custom engine bay i'd have droped in a 460 already. big blocks no fit in IIs without MAJOR work, which is something Arin cant exactly afford right now lol

i found a 289 w/ "original" tranny attached (unkown type) for $0.00 on craigslist. Arin wants! anyone wanna give me a ride to oakland and back. pickup or something that can fit big heavy things required. ill give you like.... a nickel

Arin, the 460 is too nose heavy, the biggest i recommend is a 351W and i learned u can bore and stroke a 351w to a max of 454ci

Whew! too much reading. But rest assured i'll get to reading all your comments. Btw, This thread has as much point (if not more) as the tip of a needle. But I appreciate the curtiousy from the rest who actually put down some cars. I dont even remember what car I was talking about to be quite frank. Sorry guys for letting ya'll down.

yeah but a 429/460 can go upwards of 520ci

and i know the 460 is nose heavy. which is exactly why if i ever install it in a stang it will be in a 71-73! blown 520 in the stinka!

so how is the drive Arin? taking it to school yet?
I think its gonna be great when you get your II built up, seeing as you can only get small blocks in there I'd recommend a 351 then stroked/bored to 390. Keep compression down then blow it with a roots type supercharger.

A blown 520 on a '72

naw cant take it to school, no license. that comes this august, so i have to at least get my smallblock in by then and the paint, red/gold stripes.

move over cloned GT350 of the WHS parking lot, Arin's Cobra II is taking over! this car will out-perform in so many ways, you dont even know, drifting, draggin, autoX i can wait. i was thinking about IRS for a while but i dont know if that will help that much (or if i can afford it!)

i want this car to be just as as...well... ME!

the ninerstang will totally own. my goal for the 1/4 is 12-13s but i really want this baby to handle..

i really hope i can find an insane deal on a 351. if not ill go with the FREE, yes you heard me, FREE 289 in the classifeds and build a 347 or somthing.

and that blwn 520.... hehehe.... im gonna give a a Boss 315 paint job but have it say BOSS 520 instead ooooohhhh yeah.

if people think 70s style Arin looks good in his II before (you should have seen all the comment about the 'fro in my yearbook ) he's done, wait till he's done

I saw a very cool car yesterday.... it was a late 90's AM DB7 convertible

It looked just like the only it was blue instead of black.

I've seen a Rolls Royce Phantom around here, who knows what he was doing around here because it's not exactly that nice around here to be in those.
