Last I saw it projected 125mph winds when it hits the west coast of FL and 85mph when it exits on the East coast of FL but it will have 6ft surges up through GA into SC on the east coast.

Here is Something of a Tip.

If You Have an Electric Car and a Flood is Coming Don't Leave it in The Garage. I Heard 6 EV's Burned The Houses Down in The Previous Hurricane With Cars Left in Garage! Imagine a Fire Burning Due To Water Intrusion.

Yup, EV's and salt water especially are a serious fire hazard. I imagine those with EV's in the previous hurricane affected regions are wishing they had gas powered vehicles....An EV is fine if you want one, but you had better have a backup gas burner for times like this.

I Saw a Clip of a Couple of North Carolina Sheriffs Today & They are Supposed To Be On Hannity Tonight Commenting on The Devastation & Handling of The Situation. If They Say What They Did on The Clip You Might get Fired Up! Just an FYI!

I Will Say This The Only Charity They Advise To Donate To is Samaritans Purse!

They Did Not Show The Clip On Hannity. The Only Way I Can Upload The Mp4 File is a Zip File! Here it Is!

Well Part of It! A Sanitized Version of Course. Still Good To Watch!

The Full Clip is Too Big! Aye Carumba!

I live where we did not get hit by Helene quite as bad as those farther south but I went into Bristol Virginia on the day it hit and was less than 40 miles from the Bridges lost on I-26. The rain on I-81 was bad at times but listening to the radio and them saying which roads were closing or closed due to flooding was unfathomable. Getting home and turning on the local news and seeing the devastation in neighboring counties or on friends Facebook feeds tends to put things into a different perspective.
We were hearing Dam Failures, Flash Flooding and Major River flooding and that was just what was on our side of the State line since most of the power was off on the NC side and we were not getting any info out of there yet.
The almost funny part was the utilities around here including some of the areas most hard hit sent trucks south to help in Florida and southern Georgia and trucks heading south from Michigan and Ohio were diverted over to help here. Neighbor helping Neighbor and in some instances meeting your neighbors for the first time. The things that happen when technology goes away.
