Hurricane

Hope everyone up north affected by the storm is ok and safe. Chime in if you, or someone you know, might need help of any kind.

As many of those storms we go through here, it's not even upsetting any more.

The subject is HURRICANE. It's water and wind, what else can be said?

I worried about my car since I have no garage. Other than being plastered by leaves the cars were fine. I can say the same for the other vehicles around the area, but they are not Mustangs so no great loss (I Kidd) Main thing is of course is the safety of people and I hope everyone came out lucky.

I agree completely. That pic shows a wrecked mustang, but 3 more feet back and it could have been a real tragedy.

Baltimore made it out okay... no major damage in the area and no reported fatalities in or around the city, from what I've heard.

My two cars were out in the elements, as well... made it through with just rain and leaves on the car.

The more I see this on the news, the more horrific it is. Many folks out of a home (right before the holidays). I sure hope the government steps in and helps out. This is going to be a long proccess to get everyone back to some sort of normal life again.

My prayers go out to those that lost family in this tragic storm. Cars and homes can be replaced.

I'm ok up here (I live near the Mass state line...we lucked out) but the folks on the coast were hit very hard, as were the people of NYC, New Jersey coast and Virginia.

The Red Cross is accepting donations but cans and food are not helpful due to the logistical issues of cleaning/sorting/transporting this material.

If anyone wants to help, send cash or donate blood.

Similarly, you can text to donate
To do so, text "Redcross" to 90999. You'll receive a reply, asking you to confirm by texting "yes."

From my vantage the picture actually shows a fully intact mustang balancing a large piece of wood on the hood.

The article said that the mustang was floating down the street when the piece of wood stopped it.

I wondered if you'd jump on that. The comment, not the wood.
