Every time I see a picture of a car, gun or product I like, I save it. In industrial design, it can never hurt to have reference/inspiration pics.

also i think its sweet

That was one of the scarier moments of owning a Camaro... Especially because we didnt have a throttle bracket yet and I was working the carb by hand while pete was trying to start it.

We nearly lit the filter on fire a few times due to backfires (only to find out years later that there was a serious issue with the triangle foam style filter we were using )

also the distributor tried to kill me

Can't believe it's been that long! Just feels like a couple years. I was still in HS (and so were you).

Something along the lines of "Well gee, I don't know **** about how to work on cars yet, but I'd rather not ruin my Ford with inexperience"

It was actually for the car club me and my friend pete (in the video) founded at our high school. It was a cheap, V8 RWD we could tinker on. All in all it was slow, but didn't drive terribly. It was fun, and I'm really glad the tyoes of repairs that solved that hot chocolate/coffee spray never made it onto thhe II
