From the San Luis Obispo Tribune, 9-28-05, as reported in News of the Weird. . .
Car salesman Philip Vandergraff, 35, was arrested in September on a battery charge after an incident at a Ford dealership in Atascadero, Calif. According to customer Jeff Walston, the two were haggling over a car purchase, and when Walston offered $5,000 less than Vandergraff's price, Vandergraff punched him in the face.

Seriously, what's up with that salesman? So much for his chances for "employee of the month".
If anyone visits this dealership in the future, better bring a helmet, padding, etc. when car shopping.

I'm sure Mr. Walston has already talked to his attorney, after it's said and done, I'm sure he'll be able to afford the car.....plus some. Talk about givin a car salesman (including the dealer) a bad name. In the salesman's defense, some of them guys are pushed hard to make a sale, although I'm sure violence is not included.........

I was selling a cell phone today and the guy offered me $50 less then the price of the phone. I punched em i the face.
