I know this is really really random, but how many icons does everybody have on they're desktop?
at last count I'm at 70.
I am aware of the fact that this has nothing to do with this topic but I've always liked this smilie and never had a reason to use it.

40 here.. about 2/3 are work related though (guess having 15 versions of one software program loaded doesnt help much)

 

I forgot what the program is that I'm using, but it allows me to remove the Recycle Bin from the desktop. My Computer and Internet Explorer can be removed through Display Properties. Occasionally I'll save a file or folder on the desktop for quick access, but they get moved to My Documents when I'm done with them.

Fortunately I have a good size screen at a fairly high res, so it takes up less than half my screen.
