How How How?

I have a wedding ring with a ton of little baquettes in it. One fell out.
Tonight I took it back to have it repaired. HOLY SNOT!

Riddle me why it cost $120 for a diamond the size of a piece of dust? If that one teeny one is $120 what if one of the big uns fell out? This after they tried to get us to trade it in on a vulgar update of what I already have. Yea, After all these years I am kind of attached to it, but thanks.

Holy CRAP! If I paid $120 for every baquette in there it would cost more than the ring was brand new in 1994.

The diamond probably didn't cost as much as the labor charge.

Plus I wanted to scope out an emerald. Plus Now all my Jewelry looks like I just bought it- I love that supersonic cleaner they have there.

I think the irony is they send them to John Johns for repair. It will be back on my finger Thursday.

But Jeezus.....Going by that if I lost every baquette in there that would be $2,600. I would hate to think if I lost one of the Marquis diamonds in it. The ring wasn't even 2,600 brand new!!

I learned: Nowadays Wedding Rings are frigging Vulgar looking. My ring has held its value- so I coulda done an almost even trade, but EWW- a knuckle big, and BRIGHT and Huge. I don't want a friggin 2 or 3 karat ring!Glad I got married a dozen years ago.
