Did you see that stress test they did on the 777 wing?

The Buran flew one time unmanned into orbit and they ran out of money. The others were never finished. Buran was destroyed when the roof of the building it was in collapsed.

The Russian space shuttles were carried on the antonov an-225, largest airplane in the world

If you ever watch them break the wings on an airliner, the tips go up a sickly looking 25+ feet. If you watch the videos, you'll never worry about em bouncing around in a little turbulence again. I think you can find aircraft wing tests on Youtube. When the spar finally goes the cameras remotely mounted in the giant buildings shake from the concussion, its pretty cool.

It stopped at least once, Offutt AFB.

I recall back in 1983 when this combo flew into the TWA Overhaul base in Kansas City, you would have thought the president was here. People everywhere, cameras flashing non stop, watching the plane hit the runway, and wondering if it would ever stop and turn around. I remember this very well as we watched it come down out of the clouds and land right before us.
