Hey Brad, check out arkedelphia looking north...... PARKING LOT! Supposedly another steel coil fell on 59N and screwed up the road (and someones car)

 

Yikes. What's that all about?

 

"I-59 Northbound lanes closed over 3rd Street North, Bridge I.D.# 9871, near I-65/I-59 Interchange Repair crews on site to perform temporary repairs, expect very long delays for several hours"

This morning.

 

Here's where I am. Our building was built after this photograph was taken. It's on 4th Ave S. between 16th and 17th Streets. The entire north-facing side of our building is glass, so we have a nice panoramic view of downtown, and this fire.

 

Is it still blazing good? One of the FF at my station is also a Bham FF so I am sure he's working it. I should get good details later.

 

WTH? ANOTHER COIL?

They may as well give it up on that note.

 

It's barely smoking white now. Earlier we could see the fireballs.
